Diagnosis and management of dentofacial trauma
(Dentofacial trauma is one of the more common injuries especially for the young individuals. It may range from simple to complex. Dental providers are at times the first practitioners that may be called upon for assessment, and possible management of these patients. This talk will review the pertinent anatomy, mechanisms of the injury, and common presentations for such patients. An overview of treatments and indications for referral, if needed, will also be provided.)
